Casablanca 1943

Here's looking at you kid! No, you won't find Victor Laszlo, Capt Renault, Rick Blaine or Illsa Lund in this version of Casablanca. You will find a color film from 1943 that is part of the COL George B. Jarrett film collection here at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center.

Catch a glimpse of the city of Casablanca in this short film taken by a Soldier on his assignment in the city. Take note of the color footage of the Anfa Hotel, the scene of the Casablanca Conference where President Roosevelt and Winston Churchill took steps toward planning the allied strategy and the end of the war.

So, round up the usual suspects, Play it once, Sam, for old times sake, because this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
